In the territory of the municipality of Jekabpils, persons declared to have a basic place of residence who, due to their age or disability, cannot take care of themselves.
Get a service
After receiving an application from a person or an authorised person regarding the necessity of a care service, the social service of the local government shall evaluate the individual needs of the person and determine the level of care. According to the level of care and the possibility or inability to provide personal care on the part of family members, the social service of the local government shall take a decision regarding the granting or refusal to grant the service in an appropriate nursing home, by organising the execution of the decision accordingly.
